God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not meant to be. So He wrapped his arms around you, and whispered, "Come with me". You didn't deserve what you went through, So He gave you rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best And when I saw you sleeping, So peaceful and free from pain I could not wish you back To suffer through that again.
Patricia Lynn Davies lovingly known as Pat or Patty passed away Friday, April 30th, 2021 at the age of 70 years old in Westminster, Colorado at Saint Anthony’s North Hospital. Patricia was born July 4th, 1950 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Patricia attended and graduated from Paso Robles high school, she later moved with her then husband to Denver, Colorado. Patricia was a single mother of three Deanne Marie Holland, Dawn Michelle Cornelius, and Michael James Davies. She had four grandchildren Megan Reigh Bussell, Cody James Holland, Katelyn Marie Cornelius, and Jayme Lynn Holland, as well as two great-grand children Remington Lane Holland and Ainsley Jean Holland. She worked as a dispatcher for a local trucking company up until she retired. She then spent her time watching her great- grandchildren and catching up on some much needed rest and relaxation. She was a force to be reckoned with and anyone who met her would tell you that she was a sassy firecracker who would tell you exactly what she thought.
She was a woman who would be there for anyone that needed her and would always be that loving hug, that gentle but firm voice when you needed to talk and that listening ear when you needed to vent. Family meant everything to her, and she loved her family with everything she was and everything she had. She was the type of person that would help anyone she could and her home was always open to whoever needed a place to stay. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on a sunny Friday afternoon. She will be loved forever, missed always, and will be remembered and kept in the hearts of all that knew her.
I'm Still Here
Family and friends, please don't mourn for me
I'm still here, though you don't see. I
'm right by your side each night and day
And within your heart I long to stay.
My body is gone but I'm always near.
I'm everything you feel, see or hear.
My spirit is free, but I'll never depart
As long as you keep me alive in your heart.
I'll never wander out of your sight-
I'm the brightest star on a summer night.
I'll never be beyond your reach-
I'm the warm moist sand when you're at the beach.
I'm the colourful leaves when Autumn's around
And the pure white snow that blankets the ground.
I'm the beautiful flowers of which you're so fond,
The clear cool water in a quiet pond.
I'm the first bright blossom you'll see in the spring,
The first warm raindrop that April will bring.
I'm the first ray of light when the sun starts to shine,
And you'll see that the face in the moon is mine.
When you start thinking there's no one to love you,
You can talk to me through the Lord above you.
I'll whisper my answer through the leaves on the trees,
And you'll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze.
I'm the hot salty tears that flow when you weep
And the beautiful dreams that come while you sleep.
I'm the smile you see on a baby's face.
Just look for me, friend, I'm every place!
