Patrice Pirk

Patrice "Patty" Hyatt Pirk was born on July 24, 1950 in Baltimore, MD to William and Alma Hyatt. She passed away on July 10, 2021 in Baltimore, MD. She was the eldest of 5 children. They moved to Colorado when Patty was 10 years old and they made their home here. She grew up in the Green Mountain area and graduated from Lakewood Senior High School in 1968. She went to Wheat Ridge Beauty School and once she got her license, she was a hair stylist for a few years. She then went to work for the airlines. She joined Frontier Airlines in 1978, she was a supervisor in reservations. She then joined United Airlines in 1988 as a supervisor of reservations and onboard services and labor relations representative.

She retired in 2008 and enjoyed it. She married Gary Pirk of Denver on October 10, 1981 and lived in North Denver the last 40 years. She loved to travel, sitting on the beach in Maui, fine dining and gambling (Las Vegas).

Patty is survived by her husband Gary, her children, Kari Scaglione and Rocky (Nicole) Richards: her brothers Robert (Margaret) Hyatt, Wayne Hyatt, Steven (Joni) Hyatt; 5 grandchildren, Kourtney (Nick), Taylor (Chris), Anthony, Kaylee and Rocky; 3 great-grandchildren, Hailee, Finley, and Natalie; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in the death by her parents and brother, Billy.

Patty will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her devotion to her family and friends, her sense of humor and love of life will be treasured by the family and remembered always.

Services will be held on July 24, 2021 at Horan & McConaty 3101 S. Wadsworth. Lakewood, CO at 2:00 pm.
