Oliver Wesley Leight, 34, huntsman, Casanova, and naturalist, passed away on July 28, 2025, shocking all those who loved him by being ahead of schedule for the first time in his life.
Oliver’s relationship with danger was a lifelong affair, fueled by an insatiable lust for adventure. Olli loved to travel and explore. He found happiness in tracking game through the mountains, taking long drives, and making trips to Mexico. When he wasn’t moonlighting as a defensive driving instructor to friends or making his award-winning gravy, Olli excelled in various arts of self-defense. He was a crack shot and a longtime student of Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu. He fiercely protected those he cared about — and even strangers in need.
Oliver is survived by his sweet pup, Ty; his pain-in-the-ass sister, Natilie; two years’ worth of freeze-dried meals; and enough ammunition to survive WWIII. He was preceded in death by his mother, Amy Matz, and father, Barth Davis, as well as the rest of his dysfunctional family and many close friends he dearly longed to meet again. He will be greatly missed by the Parker Costco and In-N-Out, as well as all those who have been touched by his generous heart.
