Obituary

Norma June Warren was born on September 10, 1935, in Mondamin, Iowa, the youngest of five children born to Charles Wesley and Hazel June Ruffcorn. She graduated from Mondamin High School in 1953, where she enjoyed friendships, fun times, and playing basketball.

After graduation, Norma moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where she began working for a real estate company. She later met Harley Warren, and the two were married on September 9, 1956. After living in Iowa City while Harley completed his engineering degree, they moved to Lakewood, Colorado, in 1960, where they made their home and raised their two daughters, Wendy and Angela.

Norma devoted herself to being a loving wife and mother, creating a home centered on love, family, and faith. She was deeply involved in her church, Mountair Christian Church, serving as an Elder, Sunday School teacher, and church board member. She also volunteered as a hospice worker, offering comfort and support to those nearing the end of life. Her commitment to Bible Study Fellowship spanned 23 years, reflecting her deep love of Scripture and her desire to share her faith with others.

Norma was known for her warm heart, wonderful cooking, and willingness to help wherever there was a need. In retirement, she and Harley enjoyed traveling with friends, square dancing, and ballroom dancing. They shared 59 wonderful years of marriage before Harley's passing in October 2015.

Norma is survived by her daughters, Wendy and Angela; sons-in-law, Jim and Harry; grandchildren, Jessica and her husband Nathan, Rachel, Sarah and her fiancé Sean Lynch, and Brad and Kristen Davis; and great-grandchildren, Matthew, Emily, Jackson, and Avery, along with many other family members and dear friends.

Norma will be remembered for her deep love of family, her generous spirit, her unwavering faith, and her dedication to serving others. Though she will be greatly missed, her family and friends will carry forward the example she set through a life filled with love, integrity, and faith in Jesus Christ.
