Norma Jean Njaa Becker

Norma Jene Njaa Becker, age 91, passed away in her home at Brookdale Greenwood Village September 12, 2026. She was born in Langdon, North Dakota to Harold Norman and Eugenia Njaa. Norma was a longtime resident of the Denver area. Besides her love and dedication to her children and grandchildren, Norma was a lifelong accomplished piano player. Her career as a private piano instructor, where she taught countless young students, brought great joy to her. She also enjoyed her last position as an office administrator at Cherry Creek State Park. 

Norma is survived by her sister Karen (Chuck) Nevi of Renton WA, her sister-in-law Virginia Njaa of Gazelle, CA, her children Karen Becker of Parker, Norm (Janet) Becker of Los Ranchos, NM, Kevin (Lupe) Becker of Aurora, Konnie Kozlowski of Elizabeth and Frances (Patrick) Becker of Bennett; grandchildren Christopher, Mallory, April, Kendra, Holly, Paul, Andrew, Alaina, Jake, Kevin, Curtis, Alexis, Koy, David and numerous great grandchildren. 

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leo Becker, her daughter Kelly (Mike) Hamilton, and her brother George. 

Our deep gratitude goes to the amazing staff at Brookdale Greenwood Village who treated her with such respect and were truly her friends. 

Funeral services will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Englewood on September 28th; rosary at 10:15 followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00. A reception will follow. Burial services will be private for immediate family at Ft. Logan National Cemetery on September 29th.
