Nolan Chance Atkins

Nolan Chance Atkins 16 years young, of Frederick, Colorado passed away from this mortal life on November 23, 2014. Steve Wayne and Dawn Leah Atkins were blessed and honored with Chance's birth on January 12, 1998 in Denver, Colorado. Chance was the fourth of five children, wherein he was loved, cherished and adored by his brother and sisters. Chance's love for his family was evident in the ways he would serve them and show love and sacrifice for each member. Chance's mission in life was serving others and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He attended Frederick High School where he participated in the music programs. His passion was playing drums for the bands at the school and in his leisure time. Chance is survived by his parents and siblings Mekenzie, Steven Ryne, Marissa and Madison; his grandparents Steven James and Maureen Atkins, Linda and Ron Jensen, Larry and Linda Reynolds; great grandparents Leonard and Lila Albertson; many aunts, unlces and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 10:00 in the morning at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9029 Grand Mesa Avenue in Frederick. It is expected to be a large attendance for Chance. Please consider a carpool. The family requests that you please bring a printed photo of Chance to display on the memory boards as you enter the church. Chance had a love of serving others. Please contribute a canned item to donate to the local food bank in honor of Chance. Bins will be available as you enter the church.
