“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

With aching hearts and deep faith, we remember and honor the life of Natasha Leah Koeplin, who passed into the arms of her Savior on July 19, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado.

Born in Englewood, Colorado on October 28, 1996, Natasha was the youngest of three daughters—a joyful, vibrant soul who completed her family perfectly. Her laugh was unmistakable—loud, contagious, and full of life. She often shouted “Yippee!” with childlike delight, a reflection of the enthusiasm with which she lived.

Natasha was a creative and gifted author of poetry, often pouring her heart into journals filled with reflections, dreams, and prayers. She found healing in writing, peace in reading, and joy in music—especially live concerts. She also cherished time spent with family and friends, and most of all, her son, Henry, who was the light of her life.

Natasha adored horses, cats and dogs. Her cherished cat, Luna, now lives with her sisters, continuing to be a part of the family Natasha held so dear.

Natasha worked in healthcare and found special purpose and interest in the field of dental care. She was employed at an endodontist’s office at the time of her passing, where her compassion and kindness left a lasting impression on those she worked with and cared for.

She is survived by her son, Henry; her mother, Debra Koeplin of Denver; her father, Todd Koeplin of North Carolina; her sisters, Alana Koeplin of Aurora and Aimee McGonigle of Englewood; and her nephew, Hudson McGonigle, also of Englewood. She is also survived by lifelong friends, and the countless people whose lives she brightened with her love, honesty, and humor.

Natasha was a passionate mental health advocate. She spoke openly about her own struggles in hopes of helping others feel less alone. Her courage in vulnerability was one of her greatest strengths. We will continue to honor her by speaking out on her behalf. If you or someone you love is struggling with suicidal thoughts, please know you are not alone. Call or text 988 anytime. A celebration of Natasha’s life was held on June 29, 2025, attended by a community of loved ones—some who had known her since childhood, all of whom were deeply impacted by her presence.

Though our hearts are broken, we hold tight to the truth that Natasha is now at peace. Her legacy lives on in her son, her words, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely. We will carry her in our hearts until we meet again.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life” — John 3:16
