Survived by sons, Steve (Amy) and Mark (Sharon); daughter, Karla; brother, Jack Newell (LInda); grandchildren Erin and Kyle Rodie, and nephews John, Jeff, and Ted Newell. Memorial Service on Friday, July 13, 11:00 AM, Horan & McConaty Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emily Griffith Opportunity School Foundation, 1250 Welton, Denver, CO 80204 or Denver's Teacher's Club, 990 Glencose St., Denver CO 80220.
