Nancy J Malone, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend and sister passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 in Arvada, Colorado. Born on March 28th, 1947 in Alton, Illinois. She was the eldest daughter to the late Robert and Jean (Hayden) Langen.
She married John E. Malone on January 28th, 1976 and he proceeded her in death on February 22nd, 2020.
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a 1965 graduate of Marquette Catholic High School in Alton, Illinois. She worked as a flight attendant for United Airlines, before moving to Barrington, Illinois to raise her family. She and John retired to Marana, Arizona and then split their time between Arizona and Colorado to watch their grandkids grow.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kathryn (Eric) Tollund of Golden, Colorado and Kelly Grygiel of Arvada, Colorado; four sisters Janet (John) Fischer of Plymouth, Minnesota, Patty (Richard) Dodd of Globe, Arizona, Beth (Tony) Joehl of Godfrey, Illinois and Mary (Bill Sheehan) Langen of Clive, Iowa; 4 grandchildren, Arne and Annika Tollund and Riley and Quinn Grygiel.
A funeral mass will be held on May 20th, 2026 at 10:30am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Arvada, Colorado. A private burial will take place at Golden Cemetery.
