Nancee Covington-Locke

Nancee Covington-Locke, 89, passed away on October 12, 2019 in Denver, Colorado. She was born to Ruth and Raymond Gallman, on September 7, 1930 in Wood River, Illinois.

Nancee was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an avid reader, dog lover, and had a propensity for the one-armed bandit. She was fun-loving, emotional, feisty, and always greeted everyone with a smile.

Nancee is survived by her sons, Tim Covington (Carol Smith), and Michael Covington (Maria Covington); grandchildren Andrea Hernbloom (Jeff Hernbloom), Kate Glass (Will Glass), Jonathan Haffner, Jessica Schoales, Kendall Haffner, Erick Covington; and her great-grandchildren, Aiden Schoales, Landyn Hernbloom.

Nancee was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Raymond Gallman; daughter, Tracy Covington; and her sister, Patricia Dunn.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Horan & McConaty, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, Colorado. A committal service will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2019.
