Nadine Marie Feist

Nadine Marie Yenni Feist passed peacefully on April 17, 2024, at the age of 83, in Denver, CO.  She was born to Samuel and Veronica (Konzem) Yenni in Manhattan, KS on June 4, 1940.  Nadine graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in North Platte, NE and, shortly after her 18^th birthday moved to Denver, CO to attend Parks School of Business.  She married her lifelong love and companion, Conrad Feist, on June 10, 1961.  They moved into a house in Englewood, CO and quickly filled it with children.  

A dedicated wife and loving mother, she worked beside Conrad at rental houses and as bookkeeper for their business.  She kept an immaculate home, served home-cooked meals, and used her exceptional seamstress ability to make Barbie clothes, Halloween costumes, and bridesmaids dresses.  She was a tireless volunteer at school, band, religious education, and Girl Scouts.  

Nadine had an unceasing faith in God and love for the traditions of the Catholic church where she developed many cherished friendships.  She enjoyed skiing, roller-skating, golf, bridge, bible study, and book-club, all good places to collect friends.  These devoted friends brought her much joy and lifted her with prayer and love during her battle against pancreatic cancer nineteen years ago and her recent five year bout with multiple myeloma.    

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Veronica Yenni and brother Ernest Yenni.  She leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Conrad Feist, her children Linda (Michael) Prudhomme, Darlene (James) McCluskey, Karen (Ian) Coppell, Dianne (Frank) Gandora, and Kenneth Feist, nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.   She is also survived by siblings Fred Yenni, Darlene Barratt, and Bryan Yenni.  

A Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 beginning at 9:30AM, followed by a Rosary at 10:30AM and the Funeral Mass at 11:00AM all at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3290 W. Milan Ave., Sheridan, Colorado. A reception will follow at the Saint Agnes Center at Holy Name Church.
