Myrna Raye Johnson

Myrna Raye Johnson, age 80 of Westminster, CO, passed away on Monday, June 3rd, 2019. She was born to Virgil H. Deschand and Bertha P. Nelson on August 21, 1938 in Kankakee, IL and the oldest of four daughters. She will be always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She is predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Gene Raymond Johnson and granddaughter, Jenna Raye Winn.

Myrna was enthusiastic about reading, travel, gardening and decorating and she had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a bookstore manager for many years and loved reading so much, that she always had a book in every room. Myrna, her husband and family relocated within the U.S. over a dozen times during their lives and she loved to explore each new city with her family.

She is survived by her four children, Karin Johnson and Joan Mullins of Colorado and Janet Winn and Keith Johnson of Oklahoma, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other loving family members.
