Muriel Williams

Muriel Williams was born on June 29th, 1936 in Long Island, New York. She passed away on November 29, 2023.  

Muriel is survived by her sister Theodora Scott, her oldest son Preston Williams and his three children, Nathan, Jessica and Rachael, her youngest son Raymond Williams, his wife Karen Williams and his three sons, Christopher, Bradley and Zachary. Muriel is also survived by her nieces Sharon Ralls and Linda Wilson and great grandchildren Isiah, Dominick, Adrian, Rhyden and Serena. Muriel was predeceased by her husband Maurice Williams, her father Theodore Shropshire, mother Ada Shropshire and sister Doreen Shropshire. 

Muriel and her two sisters were raised in Springfield Massachusetts by their loving parents. Muriel was always very adventurous growing up and dreamed of traveling and living in different locations. Muriel met and wed her husband Maurice in Springfield and the couple had two sons. Muriel was able to fulfill her childhood dream of traveling since Maurice was a member of the Air Force. Six months after the birth of their second son the family was stationed in the Netherlands for three years. Upon returning to the United States, Muriel and her family were stationed in Michigan, South Carolina and finally settled in Denver Colorado after Maurice retired from the Air Force.  

Muriel will be cherished for her kind heart she shared with her friends and family, her wonderful sense of humor and the loving devotion she had for her family. Muriel will be forever missed but will always be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
