Miguel Ortiz

Miguel Angel Ortiz, age 51, passed away on August 30, 2021 in Aurora, Colorado. Miguel was born on November 29, 1969 to Hilario and Aurora Torres in El Paso, Texas. Miguel earned an Associated Degree in Mechanics. He served in and was Honorably Discharged from the United States Navy, where he served as an Engineman (EN). For this professional life, Miguel worked as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer with DHS and a Deportation Officer with DHS, ICE and ERO.

Miguel is survived by his spouse, Lizbeth Ortiz; children: Michelle Ortiz, Jazmin Ortiz and Angela Ortiz.

Miguel was a joyful, outgoing, charismatic man. He found pleasure tending to his garden and lawn, playing with his dogs, traveling and sports. Above all, Miguel was a devoted husband and father. He loved family game/movie nights, boxing and running with his daughters Jazmin and Angela, date nights with his wife Lizbeth and watching the Dallas Cowboys with the entire family. Miguel was greatly loved by his family and will be deeply and truly missed.
