Michelle Marie Tuffield, age 50, passed away on October 8, 2026.  She was born on March 18, 1976, in Thornton, Colorado.

Michelle was born and raised in Colorado.  She attended All Souls Catholic School and Arapahoe High School.  She earned her bachelor's degree in physical education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and worked as a teacher for many years.

One of Michelle's many passions was coaching.  She helped start and coach a professional women's football team in Colorado.  She also enjoyed camping and fishing, especially spending time with family on their camping trips to Wolford.  She was a passionate sports enthusiast and a die-hard University of Nebraska fan.  She was an avid women's basketball supporter and proudly followed the Indiana Fever, with Caitlin Clark as her favorite player.  Michelle also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Maizey, who brought her much joy and companionship.

Michelle is survived by her parents, Pricella and Ed; her siblings, Jim (Leslie) and Tina (James); her partner, Kayla; and her beloved dog Maizey.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Michelle was preceded in death by her brother, Scott, and all four of her grandparents.

Michelle was dearly loved by her family and friends.  Her love, laughter, and presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she created and the lives she touched will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
