Age 75, of Arvada, Mike died unexpectedly but peacefully at home in his sleep. Mike was predeceased by his mother, Shirley Schuh Crouch; father, Jack Herbert Crouch; brother, Stephen Crouch; and his stepmother, Linda L. Crouch. He is survived by his wife, Linda S. Crouch; son, Bryan (Julie Kirwan) Crouch; sister, Shanne Crouch Hilleman; sister-in-law, Kathy Chiero; brother-in-law, Larry Houns; nieces, Anne Marie Salem, Kellen Crouch Kurtz (Kimbal), and Mallory Crouch.
Mike was born in Boulder, Colorado three months early, weighing 2 pounds 1 ounce and went down to 1 pound 13 ounces. The family moved due to his father being a professor of English to Ithaca, NY, for a year before Mike started school at Whittier Elementary School, then Foothill Elementary in Boulder, and his last year of elementary school in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Mike went to Casey Junior High and graduated from Boulder High School in 1966. Mike wrestled for BHS, which is when he started weight lifting, a sport he enjoyed up to days before he passed. Mike attended UNC in Greeley, where he played some college football, graduating with a Bachelor degree in Political Science in 1970.
After a stint in Atlanta, GA with friend's where he worked as a bouncer, Mike moved back to Boulder and met his future wife, Linda. After they married, Mike and Linda moved to California and had their son, Bryan. Two months later, they moved back to Longmont, CO where he started working as a door and window salesman, first at Boulder Door, then Morgan Distribution, and 10 years at Andersen Windows. While working with Andersen he won Salesman of the Year in 2003 and 2005. He eventually retired in 2010.
Mike also enjoyed football, especially the CU Buffaloes and Denver Broncos.
