Michael Anthony Vaughn, a local hero, was born September 17th, 1989 and went home to glory on August 4th, 2021 after a battle with bone cancer. Mike was a Colorado native and a highly respected Arvada community member. He was dedicated to making this city flourish by deeply investing in the youth as a teacher at Arvada West High School and a multi-sport coach at Arvada High School. Mike impacted hundreds of students and athletes directly and changed the course of many lives for the better. He is survived by his wife, Amber; his children Brielle, Noelle and Ike; mother, Maria; father Chuck and brothers Travis, Joshua, Taylor and Tanner. Though the city lost a legend, a legacy of immeasurable value and magnitude was left behind. One that would alter the trajectory of history because one man cared enough to engage his surroundings with love, hope and joy by sacrificing for others. Join us in the remembrance of the man respected and loved by so many on Saturday, August 14th, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Storyline Fellowship: 14605 W 64th Ave, Arvada, CO 80004
