Michael Christopher Conry was born in Topeka, Kansas on March 31, 1974 and passed away in his sleep on January 4, 2021.
He moved with his parents Carol and Michael Conry and his new baby brother Eric, to Littleton, Colorado in 1979. The love of Colorado was deeply rooted in Chris. He enthusiastically participated in all it had to offer, including many youth sports as a child, swimming, soccer, softball, etc., but was outstanding in tennis. He was a top singles player at Arapahoe High School, and was a member of the Colorado State University tennis team.
Chris graduated from Colorado State University in 1996 with BS in Finance. He had a successful twenty-one year career as a Senior Broker at the Charles Schwab Corporation, where he leaves behind many friends and colleagues.
Known for his broad smile and friendly personality, he had many friends and currently enjoyed playing tennis, hiked in the mountains, biked, and consistently worked out.at the gym. His favorite tennis opponent was his brother Eric with whom he had a friendly rivalry. Chris had a love of travel and visited many foreign countries, recently curtailed by the pandemic. Chris was especially fond of his niece Mia, and nephews Kevin and Dylan Conry who he enjoyed playing tennis with.
Chris is survived by his parents Carol and Michael, brother Eric and his wife Nicole, Mia, Kevin, and Dylan, also many aunts, uncles, and cousins in the Conry and Janezic families.
A memorial service will be held at a later date due to the coronavirus pandemic. In lieu of flowers please donate in the name of M. Chris Conry to the Children’s Hospital of Denver Foundation, 13123 E. 16th Street, Box 045, Aurora, CO.
