Michael "Mike" T. Chambers

February 25, 1963 — July 2, 2025

Thornton, Colorado

Michael T. “Mike” Chambers, a man who lived his life with the perfect balance of kindness and tenacity, passed away on July 2nd, 2025, at the age of 62. He was a graduate of Westminster High School. A Marine Corps Veteran, Michael earned an Associate of Science Degree before completing a five-year electrical apprenticeship at Local Union #68. Michael was not only a journeyman but also dedicated his time to teaching students as an instructor.

Michael is survived by his wife, Amy, son Dean (Christina) and granddaughters McKenna and Ainsley. He is also survived by his brother Eric (Jen) and his cousin David (Lisa). He was proceeded in death by his parents.

Michael treasured his father-in-law, Vic, and loved family gatherings where he could spend time with his sister’s-in-law Pam and Tracy, brother’s-in-law Dan and Brandon, nephews Alex (Sarah), and Brandon Jr. (Hailie), and nieces Erin Lynn (Chris), Emily (Casey) and Bridget.

Michael also considered his friends as his brothers. Steve, Rick, John, Bob, Mike, Scotty, Guy and Jim were held very dear to Michael. Over 40 years of friendship is a true testament to the person that Michael was.

Michael was very passionate about all things Nebraska, especially the Cornhuskers, and was also a lifelong Denver Broncos fan.

A memorial service will be held at Horan & McConaty Thornton on September 11, 2025, at 11am with a reception to follow immediately afterwards.
