Michael A. Gallegos

Michael A. Gallegos was born in Denver, Colorado on March 26, 1968 to Edward and Shirley Gallegos.  He passed away quietly in his home on March 12, 2024.  Mike graduated from Columbine High School in 1986 and attended Western State University. He was a kind and gentle soul, a lover of animals, an avid reader, and a friend to all. He leaves behind his nephew Chris Theriot (Camila), his nephew Landon Gallegos, his brother-in-law, Dave Ellingson; his cat, Kashi, and many family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Shirley, his sister, Anita; his brother, Marc; and his sister, Teresa Ellingson. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to NAMI or the Cat Care Society of Lakewood.  Please dress comfortably for the service.

A Memorial Service honoring Michael's life will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood.

Following the memorial service, the family invites you to join us for lunch at Las Fajitas, 10131 W. Bowles Ave., Littleton, CO 80127.
