Melissa Barton

Melissa Jane Barton, 61 of Westminster, Colorado, passed away on March 24, 2021 in Royal Oak, Michigan, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on May 1, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Melvin & Margaret Carland.

Janie married Tom on May 28, 1983 & together they shared 37 years of marriage.

Janie worked in the Medical Field and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, and family.

She will be remembered for her heart of gold, kindness and caring ways.

Widow of Tom, she is survived by her daughter Courtney Barton and her son Thomas C. Barton Jr., her grandson Axel, her brother Bill, and many nieces, nephews,  great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
