Megan Rae Pierce

November 30, 2004 — April 20, 2025

Denver, Colorado

Megan Pierce, age 20, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on April 20, 2025.

Born November 30, 2004, Megan's time with us was full of meaning, laughter, and heart. She broke the mold when she came into this world and as she left it, she did so with a smile on her face. Her life was far too short but incredibly full. Megan was, and is, a light and motivation to all who have had the blessing of interacting with her. She didn’t simply move through life, she lived it to the fullest. Megan embraced each moment with an adventurous spirit, deep passion, and a heart open to others.

Megan began her college journey with a calling to the medical field finding early fulfillment working with older adults in assisted living. Her path led her to early childhood education, where she discovered a true passion for making a difference in young lives. Megan loved to lift up others and found joy and purpose in every relationship she built.

Megan had a spunky, lively spirit. She wasn’t afraid to be silly or to stand firm in her wants and needs. She always had something to say to everyone, and it was always with honesty, and without malice. Megan’s strong opinions were balanced with an open mind. She listened thoughtfully, adapted when needed, and grew constantly. She had so many gifts, talents, and hobbies, pouring her energy into everything she loved.

She was an unstoppable and tenacious force in our world, and she would bring strength to all those who needed it. She was fearless and strong, but also so gentle in her love and compassion. We can only hope to live in her strength and honor her with each decision we make. Megan will be a guardian angel, watching over everyone who rides a motorcycle and flying beside them for all of time.

Megan leaves a legacy through her loving family: her mother, Tiffany Davis (Arch); her father, Jack Pierce; her brother, Zakery Pierce; her stepfather, Joel Davis; her stepsister, Erin Davis; and her boyfriend, Matt Bolton. She is held in the hearts of her grandparents, Brenda and Gary Kottke, Russ and Pat Arch, Elizabeth (Betty) Pierce, and Thurman (Dave) Davis. Megan was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jack Pierce, Sr., and Sandra (Sandy) Davis.

Megan’s light will continue to shine brightly through all those she touched. Her beautiful spirit will be forever missed and cherished and she will be forever loved. A celebration of Megan’s life is planned for early June. Details for that are forthcoming.
