Megan J. Mudge died on December 29, 2015 at Rose Medical Hospital in Denver, Colorado following a brief illness. Meg was born on November 21, 1991 in Elko, Nevada. She is survived her parents, John and Kathy and her brother Luke. She graduated from Reno High School and then from Northwest College of Art and Design in Washington State with a degree in Fine Art. Following graduation she moved to Denver to live near her brother where she most recently worked at the Denver Art Museum. Meg was blessed with a free spirt, amazing art talent and infectious laugh. She had numerous loving friends who she always kept guessing as to what silly act she might suggest they play out. While in high school, one of her teachers submitted a piece of her art (entitled Disturbed) into a competition and it was chosen by Senator Heller (then Congressman) to hang for a year in the capital to represent his district. She also left behind two remarkable murals on the walls of Reno High School. Meg's life will be celebrated this summer in Reno. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Megan's honor to: Reno High School Art program 395 Booth Street Reno, NV 89509 Please share your memories of Megan and condolences with her family by signing the guest book below.
