Maxine Hopkins, 90, passed away May 22, 2009 at her home of 54 years in Denver. Preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Hopkins and her grandson Jonathan Robert Clinton. Survived by her children Thomas John Hopkins, M.D., Jill Hopkins Clinton, Judy Hopkins Stapp, and John Robert Hopkins, II, sisters Dorothy Jane McClellan and Joann Puth, and 12 grandchildren. Funeral Mass to be held today, Tuesday, May 26, 11AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, 860 Elm St., Denver, CO 80220. Memorial contributions may be made to Women's Library Association of Penrose Library at University of Denver or the Denver Dumb Friends League.
