Max Bailey

September 13, 1978 — March 13, 2023

Max Benjamin Bailey, 44, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on March 13, 2023. Max was born on September 13, 1978. Max was adopted by Thomas and Ruby Bailey. Thomas recorded the exact time, reaction, and location of their whereabouts when they brought their son home.

“At 11:15 am on October 31st, 1978 (Halloween) Ruby received a call from the Lutheran agency announcing the availability of our son, Max Benjamin, for pickup in Austin Texas. She located me at the Fort Bliss Golf Course and relayed the following information in a rather excited tone. Max Benjamin Bailey was born at 11:03 am, September 13th, 1978, weighing 7lb 5oz, Length 21”

Thomas and Ruby later met their firstborn son on November 1st, 1978. They departed from Austin Texas back to El Paso, Texas where Max started his journey. A couple of years later Thomas and Ruby expanded their family and had his sister Stephanie and brother Louis.

Growing up Max was into baseball, skateboarding, street art, and even went to school for fashion. In 2007, Max moved to Pueblo Colorado and worked for a call center. Max’s love for music drove him to Denver in 2009 where the music scene is more prevalent.  Max started working at 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty as a Customer Service agent where he later met Riley. After a few years, he moved into a Sales position where he really strived.

Max was an extremely loving partner to Riley and father to Taylor. Max loved everything about living life, his passion were family, music, friends, art, and fashion. He never missed a beat to connect, smile, or stop to dance. Max treated everyone with patience and understanding. Max’s enthusiasm to live life to the fullest was the reason for all his connections. People gravitated to Max like magnets and their bond was deep.

His love for connecting with people is what made him so determined to find his biological family to spread his love of life. In 2020, Max was able to locate his biological father Wyatt “Joey” Huling, and the Huling family.

Max leaves behind his partner in life and in crime, Riley Rohan, and their son Taylor Rohan, father and mother Thomas and Ruby Bailey, sister Stephanie Bauer, brother Louis Bailey, and his 2 nephews Adrian and Xavier Bauer, Rohan/Boyd family, biological father Wyatt “Joey” Huling and the Huling family.

Max is truly going to be missed for a smile that lit up the room and dance moves that could clear the floor so spectators could watch. Max wouldn’t want you to mourn the loss of him he would what you to turn on your favorite jams and dance the night away.
