Maureen Kay Langlais

Maureen was MOM to her son Zachary Langlais. She always said it was the most important and the best thing she ever did.

Maureen was the daughter of Clifford and Vivian Fitzgibbons, both of who proceeded her in death.  She was the baby of her very large family.   Her siblings are: Clifford Fitzgibbons Jr (deceased) and wife Valerie, Leonard Fitzgibbons (deceased), Gary Fitzgibbons (deceased) and wife Shirley (also deceased), Patrick Fitzgibbons and his wife Jo, Daniel Fitzgibbons and his wife Lea, George Fitzgibbons and his wife Marlene and Gail Fitzgibbons and her husband John.

She is survived by 27 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

She was married to Chris Langlais from 1982 until 2021.  Maureen spent her career as an Accounting Manager for Hanover RE. Her love of family is only equal to her love of the Broncos and the Nuggets and the Rockies and the Avalanche and the CU Buffalos and actually any other sports team! She loved hiking, exercise, softball and running.  She loved all of her animals, probably more than some people.

She will be desperately missed by her family and friends.

Prayer Service will be held Monday, August 14, 2023, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, Colorado.  Reception to follow the Prayer Service at the Holiday Inn, 7390 West Hampden Ave., Lakewood, Colorado 80227.

The family would like to send a special "Thank You" to Sun Tree Hospice, who took such amazing care of Maureen while she was in their care.  Additionally, the family would like to request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Denver Dumb Friends League Animal Shelter.
