Matthew Adam "Matt" Martens

Matthew Adam Martens will be remembered most for his deep love of family and his incredible kindness. To know Matt was to LOVE Matt — his warm heart and generous spirit touched everyone around him.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures: cooking for those he loved, camping, watching sports, and especially taking a trip to the local grocery store or Costco, happily scouring the best deals. Matt had a way of turning ordinary moments into special memories.

Matt is survived by his loving wife, Katie, and their three children; his three brothers; and his parents, who will carry his memory in their hearts always.

His love for his family was unwavering, and his presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held starting at 12pm followed by funeral service at 1pm, Friday, February 20, 2026, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood. The service will be streamed. Please follow the link to view.
