Matthew Sean Jensen

Matthew Sean Jensen (Matt) passed away on October 26, 2026 at his home in Arvada, Colorado beside the love of his life, Tonya J. Wisch at the age of 48. Matt is survived by his two beloved children, Jacey and Ethan Jensen, by his parents, Boyd and Ladell Jensen, and by his brothers Tim (Stacey) Jensen, Mike (Marisa) Jensen, and David Jensen. He was born in Billings, Montana on May 19, 1978 and moved to Arvada, Colorado as a boy, where he grew up with his brothers and many friends. A graduate of Arvada High School who mastered a trade early in life, Matt worked as a decal installer which led to him to starting his own successful company, Colorado Decal Installation, alongside his business partner, Ray, in his early twenties. Matt had a zest for life with a smile that lit up his eyes. His warm, easygoing personality was adored by many people. He always saw the good in a person. Matt enjoyed Nikes, Toyotas, antiques, geology and fascinating rocks. His biggest accomplishment was being the best dad he could be to his two children. Matt cherished the love of his family, of his many friends, of his wife Tonya, and his dog Shiloh. He loved all sports and enjoyed a variety of hobbies such as snowboarding, frisbee golf, rock hounding, hiking, camping, and off-roading. When he was not working, he yearned to be outside as much as possible discovering new things, trying to throw the perfect ace, or finding the opportunity to shred fresh powder between the trees. (That is, of course, unless the Nuggets or Avs were playing.) Matt Jensen holds a special place in the hearts of many. All who knew him will undoubtedly miss him dearly until the day we are reunited. A Celebration of Life for Matt will be held on November 15, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m at The Monkey Barrel located at 4401 Tejon Street, Denver, CO 80211.
