Matthew Engebretson

MATTHEW, 22, was born on October 23, 1987. Matthew died unexpectedly on September 21, 2010. Beloved son of Chuck Engebretson and Dr. Jill Jamison, beloved brother of Kate, and grandson of Virginia Zimmerman. Survived by uncles Will Jamison (Holly), George Jamison (Janet), Peter Jamison (Marcia) and cousins Alex, Lucas, Logan and Moriah. Preceded in death by grandparents Olaf Engebretson, Will B. Jamison, and Jacqueline Jamison. Matthew graduated from Good Shepherd Elementary School, Denver Academy Middle and High School, and attended the Community College of Denver. He was employed as a merchandiser for Scott's Lawncare. Matt loved snowboarding, golfing, biking, his dogs, and most of all his friends and family. He was sensitive, witty, a great story teller, and protective of his family. He will be missed by all. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 30th, 1:30 pm, at St. John's Cathedral, 1350 Washington Street, Denver, Colorado.
