Mary Louise Stewart

Mary Louise Stewart, age 96, died at The Suites at Holly Creek on February 20, 2026. 

She was born September 29, 1929 in Ogden, Utah. She was a graduate of Rio Vista High School in California and went on to earn a bachelor degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley where she met her first husband, Ozzie Harris. They married in 1951 and later moved to Colorado in 1971. After raising her children she obtained her Real Estate license and later her Brokers license and was very successful in residential real estate.

In 1994 Mary and Robert (Bob) Stewart married and enjoyed 17 years of marriage until he passed away in 2011. They enjoyed travel and spent many winters in Arizona golfing and loving the active life style. Since moving to Holly Creek with Bob in 2008, she was active in many bridge groups, committees, book club, chorus, church and bible study and always found time to attend exercise class almost daily.

Mary is survived by her son Craig Harris (Laura), daughters Kat Flores and Laura McReynolds (Bruce) and four grandchildren Keisha Flores (Richard Lee), Katherine Hawkins (Josh), Colton Harris (Carrie) and Taryn Harris (Kyle Mealey) as well as three great grandchildren Jayden Lee, Blaine and Emery Hawkins. She is also survived by her brother Richard A McDougal.

Memorial for Mary will be held on March 18 at 1:30 at The Fellowship Hall at Holly Creek Retirement Community, 5500 E Peakview Ave., Centennial CO 80121.
