Mary Frances Pollard

Mary Frances Pollard, 77, of Fruita, Colorado, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on April 20, 1949, to Arthur and Marguerite Montgomery. Mary spent her life taking care of others, and her kindness touched everyone she met. She was a devoted fan of the Denver Broncos and the Wyoming Cowboys. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and a loyal friend to many. She deeply loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Robert L. Pollard; her brother, Don Montgomery; and her sister-in-law, Connie Montgomery.

She is survived by her children, Robert W. Pollard and his wife Jennifer, and Nichole Clark and her husband Aaron; her cherished grandchildren, Faith and Mason Truitt; her step-grandchildren, Noah Brammeier and Lila Clark; her sister, Ruth Montgomery and her wife Maggie Decker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A public viewing will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, Colorado, followed by a memorial service to celebrate Mary's life at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Fort Logan National Cemetery.

She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
