Mary Emily Leiker

Mary Leiker, age 88, resident from Heather Gardens in Aurora, Colorado died recently on January 13, 2026. Mary had a gift for turning strangers into lifelong friends, maintaining relationships for years and shared deep connections with many people and relatives. Mary enjoyed working around her house and visiting with people. She loved decorating for the holidays, traveling domestically and had visited Ireland, Spain, Amsterdam, Austria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and the Maldives to name a few.

She is preceded in death by her husband, and survived by her three sons and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Mary will be held at the Horan & McConaty reception hall at 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue (southeast corner of Dartmouth Avenue & Parker Road) on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Some light food and drink will be provided. No gifts or donations are requested, just attend and share any stories you may have.
