Mary Catherine Hodges, 78, of Cheyenne, WY, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, at Swedish Medical Center, Englewood, CO following complications from multiple strokes.  She was born on May 17, 1948, to Leonard and Catherine Fjelstad in Eau Claire, WI.

Mary graduated from Memorial High School in Eau Calire in 1966 and moved to Fort Atkinson, WI, in 1976, where she worked and raised her son until moving to Colorado in 1992.  In 2012 she relocated to Cheyenne, Wyoming.

She worked a variety of jobs in her life, including at the first Menard's store in Eau Claire.  She was an asset as a bookkeeper, an office manager, and a dispatcher.

She was alwaays up for a good card game, putting together a puzzle, doing a Sudoku, a crossword puzzle, or just reading a good book.

She loved music and was an excellent dancer; whether for fun or as part of an award-winning competitive dance team.

She is survived by her partner of 14 years, Roger Johnson; her son, Bryan Adler, and his wife Jill, of Colorado Springs, CO; and her three cherished grandchlildren, Ella, Jacob and Nathan.

She is also survived by brother James Fjelstad of Sanibel, Florida.
