Mary Jo England

Mary Jo England, age 84, passed away on October 17th surrounded by her family in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Mary Jo grew up in La Grange, IL, and graduated from Lyons Township High School. She then attended the University of Illinois, and graduated with a B.A. in education. While attending Illinois, she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. Later in life she was an active member of P E O, and also enjoyed being involved with King’s Daughters.

Mary Jo was an avid Illinois football and basketball fan. For many years, she loved sharing her time between Moline, Illinois and Naples, Florida. In 2022, she moved to Colorado to be closer to her children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph England, and her daughter, Kathleen Barber. Survivors include daughters Amy (Wade) Warthen, Littleton, CO and Sarah England McCullough, San Diego, CA. Additional survivors are her grandchildren Joey Barber, Annie Barber, Emily Warthen, and William McCullough. A celebration of life will be at a later date in Moline, Illinois.
