It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Roach, a woman with endless kindness who made everyone’s life better through knowing her.
She was born in 1941 in Ypsilanti Michigan and passed peacefully at home on February 21st, 2026. Through her journey of 84 years, she touched many lives with her kindness, patience, and an unwavering spirit of perseverance.
She was a hard worker who worked at Sears for years, earning numerous commendations from coworkers and the CEO of Sears himself. She meet Floyd Roach in Michigan in 1981 where they danced the night away. She decided she never wanted to let him go and they were married in 1985. They stayed in Michigan until 1999 when they moved to Colorado to be closer to their grandchildren who credit her with helping to raise them and make them into the people that they are today.
Mary’s legacy of joy, perseverance, and unending kindness will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life will forever be an inspiration, a testament to the power of a hardworking spirit enthused with kindness and a sweet nature.
She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
She is survived by her very devoted husband Floyd, her loving daughter Kellie Mault, and her grandchildren Alex, Eric, and Julie, who adored her. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family and all who mourn Mary’s departure.
