Mary and her husband, Paul, made Highlands Ranch their home for the past 29 years. This August, Mary passed away, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, wisdom, and compassion.
Mary was a truly extraordinary woman, graceful, intelligent, spiritual, and endlessly generous. She was known not only for her sharp wit and radiant beauty, but also for the deep consideration and care she showed to everyone around her.
In 1973, Mary earned her Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy from Wichita State University. For 14 years, she worked across four states as a Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy Teams, providing essential and critical care to patients with dedication and heart. Her work reflected her deep compassion and unwavering commitment to the well-being of others.
Understanding the long-term needs of patients—especially those requiring care at home—Mary completed a Paralegal program in 1988 to better advocate for their rights and support them through the legal aspects of continued care. Her life was defined by humanitarian values and a deep sense of purpose in serving others.
Even in retirement, Mary continued seeking ways to give back, driven by her boundless empathy and charitable spirit. Her loss is a profound one, felt deeply and understood only by those who were lucky enough to know her.
Mary will rest in peace for all eternity, surrounded by the love she gave so freely in life.
I love you, Mary, my precious wife. You are missed beyond words.
