In Loving Memory of Mary “Maureen” Craig
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary “Maureen” Teresa Craig, who left us on November 13, 2024, at the age of 79. Maureen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, advice and delicious cooking.
Maureen is survived by her children: Coleen Nieto, Jean (Geoff) Donnelly, Christine (Matt) Kramer, and Genevieve (Joe) Pino; Grandchildren: Cera and Zacharie Nieto, Ryan, Megan, and Lauren Donnelly, Erica, Michael and Maura Kramer, Vincent and Jameson Pino; and Great-Grandchildren Vance and Frank Schuster.
She is also survived by siblings Jim (Julie) Flaherty, John (Anne) Flaherty, Bridget (Tim) Murphy, Anne (Hugh) Halligan, and Tommy (Margaret) Flaherty as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Craig, son-in-law Frank Nieto, parents Thomas and Delia Flaherty, and siblings, Joe Flaherty, Michael Flaherty, Kathleen O’Reilly.
A rosary will be held on December 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Church 300 South Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado with a Requiem Mass to follow at 10:30 AM. Graveside services will begin at 1:00 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery 4400 W. Kenyon Avenue Denver, Colorado.
A reception at the Englewood Tavern 4386 South Broadway will follow the graveside services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests perennial plants to replant and enjoy remembering Maureen or donations made to St. Francis de Sales Church in her name.
Maureen was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. May her memory be a blessing.
