Martin James Schwindt

Martin James Schwindt, 79 went to be with our Lord on September 11, 2016. Martin was preceded in death by his parent's Samuel & Katherine Schwindt, his brother Joe, sister Maryann, wife Rose Marie (Durando), in laws Joe & Maria Durando and partner Marlene Geirhart. Martin was a loving and devoted father to Martin (Lora) Schwindt, Katherine Shade (Allen), Sam Schwindt and Dianna Schwindt. He was loved as a stepfather to Kimberly Geirhart Sexton and Shelley (Sean) Sansburn. He was a proud grandfather to Amber (Ryan) Grigsby, Sarah Shade (John), Samantha Rose, Nicole, Lindsey, Megan and Jake. He was cherished and loved as a brother by Rosalie Durante his sister in law. Beloved uncle and godfather to Angela Durante. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was courageous, strong, devoted, loving and kind, truly unforgettable and irreplaceable in our hearts and minds. We were so blessed to have our ""Papa"" and know that as he has always done, he will continue to watch over us and protect us from heaven above.
