Marquette D Killingsworth passed away May 4th, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife, Simone Killingsworth, his parents Gregory Richardson and Cherriens Willis and was a loving brother to 3 additional siblings. Marquette was born in 1984 in Cleveland, MS. Marquette attended East Side High School in Cleveland, Mississippi where he played football. Upon graduation in 2002, he joined the United States Army in Memphis, Tennessee. During Marquette's service in the United States Army as a Chemical Operations Specialist he served in Kuwait and Iraq. Marquette was awarded with the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Upon his completion of service, Marquette was very involved in the Denver community, where he loved to volunteer with various events and expressed his love for football by joining the Kryptonite arena football team. Marquette fell in love with the city of Denver and enjoyed exploring everything Colorado had to offer. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, May 26, 2017, 1:15 PM, Staging Area ""C"" at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. We have put a fundraiser together in order to relieve his family of the burdens that come with planning a funeral.
