Mark Thomas Huff, 67, of Denver, CO, passed away on Sunday, Feb 9th, 2025.
Mark was born July 30, 1957 in Reed City, MI to Thomas and Barbara (Bliss) Huff. He graduated from New Buffalo High School, Class of 1975, where he excelled in basketball and then went on to play basketball and earn a business administration degree from Siena Heights College in 1977.
Mark worked in various business management positions that took him from Southwest Michigan, to Dallas, TX, and eventually Denver, CO. He was a lover of all sports, especially Michigan football, and could often be found discussing the latest game or reminiscing about historic match ups. His love for sports was only matched by his deep appreciation for music—particularly oldies and classic rock.
Mark had a remarkable memory and encyclopedic knowledge of sports, music, and movie trivia. He was the go-to person for fun facts and obscure details, always impressing friends and family with his immense range of knowledge. He also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, like long car rides on sunny days, and watching old TV shows and movies, which brought him comfort and joy.
Mark will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, his warm heart, and his ability to make those around him laugh. His legacy will live on through the countless memories he leaves behind and the impact he had on those lucky enough to know him.
Mark is survived by his sister Janet Howe of Mecosta, MI, son Brian (Diana) Huff of Denver, CO, daughter Ashley (Garret) Miller of Williamsport, IN, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas in 2013, mother Barbara in 2001, brother-in-law Denny in 2021, and his sister Koren Jane in 1954.
