Mark Henke

Mark “Mountain Man” Henke, beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away October 7th, 2020 at the age of 62.

Born in Colorado on the 21st of June 1958, Mark grew up in Arvada with sister Dana and parents Richard and Elaine Henke.

He became a US Marine as a teenager during the Cold War and went on to use his intelligence and skilled hands in various trades. Mark shared his love for the mountains, tinkering on his motorcycles, and care for his dogs with his daughter Melissa Henke.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Friday, November 6th at 11:30am. There will also be a reception at the Henke house following the ceremony at Fort Logan.
