Mark G. Danielson

April 29, 1943 — June 18, 1972

The remains of killed in action airman Captain Mark G. Danielson have been repatriated. Captain Danielson age 29 was shot down over the A Shau Valley in South Vietnam on June 18, 1972. He is survived by his widow Cheryl Bush of Commerce City; daughter Lisa L. Corboy of Louisville Colorado; son Mark G. Danielson, Jr. of Los Angeles; and sisters Lea Dickinson of Colorado Springs and Judy Danielson of Ft. Collins. Graveside services will be held in his memory at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18th at area 'B'. All veterans are invited to gather in the parking lot of Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood at 8:30 a.m. on the 18th to motorcade either by car or motorcycle to the service. Full military honors to include a United States Air Force Fly Over by the 120th Fighter Wing out of Buckley will be given in Captain Danielson's memory.
