Marjory A. Doyle

Marjory Ann Doyle, (Marge) 75 of Centennial, CO passed away October 7th 2014 due to complications due to cancer. Marjory was born October 10th 1938 in Dalton, NE to John and Teresa Van Anne. She was the seventh of thirteen children who lived on a farm outside of Dalton, NE. After graduating from Dalton High School in 1956, Marjory moved to Denver, CO to attend Central Business College. After graduating, she met Thomas J. Doyle Sr. They were married June 27th 1959. Marjory worked for Denver Public Schools, before moving with her husband to Philadelphia, PA in 1960. They moved from Philadelphia back to Denver to take a position with The Martin Company in 1962, returned to Philadelphia in 1964 to work in the family chemical business. Tom and Marge relocated to Southern California in 1968 with the FAA before returning to Denver in 1974. Marjory worked for ARMCO Steel, NICOR Mineral ventures, AT&T, Lucent and Avaya. She retired from Avaya in 2000. She was a frequent traveler visiting Austria, Belgium, Canada, Germany, France, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. One of her passions in life was her faith. She helped found four Catholic Churches, founded the Divine Mercy at St. Michael's and Our Lady of Loreto. She lead and taught the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, worked in the prison ministry for 10 years, graduated from Catholic Biblical School and lead Marian pilgrimages to numerous locations including Belgium, Medjugorje, Bosnia, Venezuela, Mexico, France. She received several awards including the 5th Annual Founders Award by our Lady of Loreto and the Pro Vitae Award from the Archdiocese of Denver in 2004. She is survived by her husband Thomas J. Doyle Sr. of Centennial, CO, her five children Debra Ann Schroeder of, Dillon, CO, Theresa Ann Levine, Sterling, VA , Lisa Ann Doyle, Aliso Viejo, CA, Kymberli Ann Roberts, Littleton, CO and Thomas J. Doyle Jr. Littleton, CO and six grandchildren. A Rosary is planned for Sunday, October 12, at 7pm at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, 18000 East Arapahoe Road, Foxfield, CO. The Funeral Mass will take place Monday, October 13, at 10am at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, 18000 East Arapahoe Road, Foxfield, CO.
