We are deeply devastated to announce the death of Mario Alberto Sanchez, who passed away unexpectedly from an acute heart attack the evening of April 10th, 2020. Words cannot convey how sudden and heartbreaking this is to our family, to find weâve lost a father, a son, a brother, and a friend. He will forever be remembered for the bright life he brought to those who knew and loved him, and the wonderfully exuberant manner he lived his life.
Mario Alberto Sanchez-Barron was born July 8th, 1974 to Manuel Sanchez and Magdalena Barron in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico. As the eldest of ten siblings, he is survived by his children Catherine and George Sanchez, his parents Manuel Sanchez and Dora Perez, and his many loved ones.
At an early age, Mario found his passion in technology and had a long career in the field of Computer Science. He earned his Bachelor Degrees in Information Technology and Business Administration from Regis University and went on to receive a Masters of Science from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Mario spent his childhood growing up in California, Nebraska, and Texas, and many of his adult years residing in Colorado. There Mario raised his children Catherine and George Sanchez with his former wife Hillary Cunha.
Catherine and George are blessed with many childhood memories of playing videos games, barbecuing, and having movie nights with their father. All throughout Mario's life, he was a devoted fan of the LA Dodgers, and was known for his love of Star Wars, traveling and micheladas.
He shared many memories of his travels to New York, Hawaii, Peru, and Mexico with his fiancé Jessica, her children Destro and Kira Trujillo, and family. He was excited for the future they had planned together.
Mario is now at rest, greeted by his mother Magdalena Barron, younger brother Hector Sanchez, and father-in-law George Daniel Martin Cunha Jr. whom he loved dearly on earth and now in heaven.
Mario Alberto Sanchez will be cremated and a viewing will be held for his family and close friends. To honor the joy he brought to those who knew and loved him, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Please share memories of Mario and condolences with his family by signing the online guestbook below.
