Marilyn Kay Webb (née Halbur), age 84, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, in Lone Tree, Colorado.
Born on December 18, 1940, in Naper, Nebraska, Marilyn was the daughter of the heartland and carried with her the values of dedication, warmth, and resilience throughout her life. She pursued her education at the Rapid City School of Business, where she earned an associate’s degree in general business, laying the foundation for a life marked by hard work and devotion to both career and family.
Marilyn was a loving wife to her late husband Wayne Webb and a devoted mother to her children: Jeffrey Webb and Jamie Coleman. She also embraced her role as stepmother to Faith Webb with care and kindness. Her family continued to grow with grandchildren Blake Coleman and Lucas Coleman, as well as step-grandchildren Richard Terrall Jr. and Courtney Terrall. Marilyn found special joy in watching the next generation thrive, including her step great-grandsons Brinson Terrall and Braxton Terrall.
A devout Catholic, Marilyn found strength and solace in her faith. Attending weekly services brought her peace and connection throughout her life. Her spiritual commitment was matched by her deep love for family traditions, especially those that brought everyone together around a table filled with home-cooked meals. Cooking for her family was one of Marilyn’s greatest joys, as were lively gatherings filled with laughter, music, dancing, and games.
She had a zest for life that shone through in simple pleasures: playing card and board games with loved ones, shopping excursions that turned into adventures, and cherished moments spent with close friends. Her warmth made every gathering feel like home.
Marilyn will be remembered as a loving wife, a wonderful mother, and a woman whose heart overflowed with generosity for those she held dear.
May Marilyn’s memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
