Marilyn C. Katsimitas, age 90, of Denver Colorado passed away at her home on November 28, 2022.
Born on March 15, 1932, in Wilbur, Nebraska to Victor and Flavel Spirk.
Marilyn is survived by her sons George (Thu) Mitchell and James (Deeja) Mitchell; loving grandchildren Stephanie Mitchell, Christina (Laurent) Mitchell, Constantine Mitchell, Andrea (Cade) Garcia, Alexander Mitchell; great-grandchildren Lanie Garcia, Marion Mitchell, Emile Mitchell; siblings Jim Spirk, Robert Spirk, and Virginia Kessler. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Flavel Spirk; husband Jimmie Katsimitas, and son and daughter-in-law Paul (Mary) Mitchell.
Services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, December 5th at Assumption of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Cathedral located at 4610 E Alameda Ave, Denver, CO 80246. Graveside service will be at Fairmount Cemetery followed by lunch at the cathedral at 12:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marilyn’s memory to The Assumption of The Theotokos Cathedral.
