Our beautiful, loving mother, Marie Pamela “Pam” Murray, passed away in September 2026. A cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Pam leaves behind a family who will forever miss her gentle heart, honest words, and fierce love.
Born on January 4, 1936, Pam lived a life centered on those she loved. Her family meant everything to her, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Her nieces and nephews were like her own children, and she loved them with that same wholehearted devotion. She was gentle and caring, and her love was a constant source of comfort to her family. With her warmth and friendly spirit, Pam made friends wherever she went. She was loved by all.
Pam was a wonderful cook and a talented baker who brought her family together through delicious meals and homemade treats. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, where she shared her love through the things she made. She also loved making crafts, putting her creativity and care into each project.
Pam is survived by her sister Odette Cummings, children, Peggy Mericle and her husband, Scott Mericle; Patrick Murray; and Deborah Close and her husband, Brian Close. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, John Haynes and his wife, Victoria Haynes; Dalton Haynes and his wife, Cryssanthemary Haynes; Stephen Haynes; Zachery Haynes; and Nicholas Close; and her precious great-grandchildren, Emerick Haynes, Arja Haynes, Sawyer Haynes, Leia Haynes, and William Haynes. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Coco, who held a special place in her heart and brought her companionship and joy.
Our hearts are broken by her absence, but we are deeply thankful to have been loved by her. We will treasure the family gatherings, the homemade meals and treats, her creativity, and the moments we shared. Her love will live on in the stories we tell and the ways we care for one another.
We love you, Mom. You will always be part of us.
