Marie Erickson nee Dorriere

Marie Elizabeth was born in St. Louis, MO to Eugene and Mary Dorriere. Known as Lisa to her family, she was the cherished older sister to Andrea (spouse: Phil), Antoinette (Jim), Gillette (Gene), Eugene, aka Roscoe, (Lisa), and Marguerite. She was the devoted wife of Paul Erickson (married 1977 in St. Louis), sister-in-law of Ralph (Karen), and a friend to many.

Marie was a proud graduate of St. Rita's grade school, Rosati-Kain high school, and Metro State University (Denver, CO). She was also a neurological technician, softball player, avid reader, angler, and cat fancier.

Lisa was a loving aunt and great-aunt. Her nieces and nephews fondly remember her not only as a "fun" aunt who shared her stories with them, but also as one who had an abiding interest in each of their lives. 

A commemorative celebration of Marie's life will be held in the Summer of 2024, with details to be announced at a later date.

In keeping with Lisa's lighthearted spirit, we remember her not with sadness, but with gratitude for the time spent with her.
