Marianne Mickey

Marianne Yvonne Mickey, born January 20, 1939, went to be with her Lord September 3, 2015 after a long and courageous struggle with Alzheimer's. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Joseph Keith Mickey of Littleton, Colorado. Marianne loved her family with all of her heart and soul and would light up whenever she was in the presence of her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her living children are Jon Mickey (wife Patti Mickey) and Beth Golden (husband Jim Golden). The grand children she adored are: Justin Mickey (wife Lyndi Mickey), Sam Golden (wife Mattie Golden), Chris Mickey, Dan Golden, Kayli Mickey, Benton Mickey, and Alec Mickey. Marianne is also survived by her brother Larry Toth (wife Jelene Toth). The family believes that Marianne is celebrating in Heaven with her youngest son, Jeff Mickey. A special thank you goes to Carolyn Mickey Ruhl (Jeff's widow), for so graciously helping with the care of this lovely lady. Much gratitude goes to the staff of Brookdale Pinehurst Park in Denver. The family thanks these wonderful people for so beautifully caring for Marianne in her last days. Memorial service and inurnment will be Friday, September 18, at 1:00 pm at Brush Memorial Cemetery, 1401 Mills St. in Brush, Colorado.
