Maria Alicia Bachicha

Maria, 73 of Denver, passed away July 17, 2018. She is survived by children, Shauna, Robert (Lisa), and Danie; grandchildren, Joseph, Alicia, Larry, Michael, Christopher, Kristine, Armon, Joshua, and Savanna; and several great grandchildren; siblings, Carol Bernhardt, Ray Tulloh, Cece Baker, Barb Grado, Florence Ferguson, and Leonard Tulloh.

Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Gertrude Tulloh, husband, Jacob Bachicha, son, Michael Bachicha, brothers, Carl Tulloh, Teddy Tulloh and James Tulloh, grandson Jesse and many close friends.

The “Crazy Cat Lady” as Maria was known, performed tireless volunteer work for feral cats here in Denver, (and anywhere she traveled), will be sorely missed in the Trap and Release community. She also enjoyed her time with her close friends whom she played many days of Bingo with. In her early years she received her certificate in Cosmetology and did hair for many years. She also made many friends in her years running a catering truck and finally found her calling in life in feeding, trapping, and releasing feral cats all over the Denver metro area.

She never got over the loss of her husband and companion, Jacob Bachicha and we are happy to know they are together again. We are sure they are having some great conversations in heaven.

She will be so deeply missed and lovingly remembered as the most special Grandmother, Mother, Wife, Sister and Friend to so many of us.

The Funeral Service will be held at 9 AM Monday, July 30th, Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd. Please gather at Staging Area A by 8:45.
